Monochrome linear sensor with rectangular pixels

Sensor configuration: with quartz glass (-Q)

The CCD sensor TCD1304DG from Toshiba in the special version with quartz glass instead of the standard glass: TCD1304DG-Q. The cover glass is removed and the quartz cover glass is applied in-house at Eureca using a specially developed process.

This increases the sensitivity in the blue spectral range, in which the conventional glass material otherwise absorbs, and to some extent also in the near UV.

This CCD sensor is suitable for applications where very light-sensitive sensors are required. It is also used in our line scan cameras eingesetzt.
